What You’ll Contribute as the Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
Pipeline & Compliance Management
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date loan pipeline.
- Monitor TRID and ECOA compliance throughout the process.
- Track deadlines and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks.
- Verify data integrity across systems and documentation.
- Flag discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
Client Experience & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and loan officers.
- Provide timely updates on application status and next steps.
- Answer client questions with clarity and professionalism.
- Maintain a positive, reassuring tone during high-pressure situations.
Documentation & Application Support
- Collect and review borrower documentation for completeness.
- Organize files for easy access and audit readiness.
- Input accurate data into loan origination systems.
- Assist with DU/LP findings and basic tax return analysis.
- Prepare closing packages and verify final details.
Portfolio Oversight & Team Collaboration
- Monitor existing portfolios for expired insurance or payment issues.
- Coordinate with multiple loan officers when volume spikes.
- Anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions.
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment.
What You’ll Leverage in this Role:
Experience & Education
- 10+ years of experience either as a Loan Assistant or Loan Processor supporting high-volume or multiple loan officers in the residential mortgages field
- Strong TRID, ECOA, DU/LP, and mortgage processing knowledge
