We’re looking for a Director of Specialty Finance who will be the driving force behind the growth and expansion of the specialty finance division. Leveraging strong industry knowledge and existing networks, you will be a working leader the ability to build and scale a high-performing division that exceeds growth objectives, prudently manages risk and supports clients in their transition to becoming bankable businesses. Compensation — In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives and equity. To determine the specific salary offered for this role, we consider industry salary ranges, existing salary structures for this job family, background, skill and experience. The total compensation package will be determined based on factors such as position level, experience and other job-related factors.

What You’ll Contribute as the Director of Specialty Finance
Leadership & Growth
- Maintain a personal pipeline, meet/exceed production goals, and model disciplined opportunity management.
- Identify and execute on division staffing needs to support growth objectives.
- Build, coach, and motivate a results-driven sales team.
- Expand networks of centers of influence (COIs) locally and nationally.
- Own pipeline governance and forecasting accuracy.
- Cross-sell all financial products, including deposits.
Operations, Technology & Governance
- Review existing processes and technology to optimize throughput, control, and client experience.
- Maintain and expand divisional policies and procedures and ensure clarity in authorities, risk limits, documentation, and audit trails.
- Manage internal and external reporting and present insights to senior leadership and the Board.
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Maintain robust underwriting standards, collateral verification processes, concentration limits, and risk monitoring to protect the Bank and clients.
- Pursue and demonstrate an understanding of all established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations, but especially those defined by BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC.

What You’ll Leverage in this Role:
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting strongly preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in factoring and asset-based lending.
- Factoring Generalist with proven leadership experience in factoring and asset-based lending.

What to expect from your physical environment
- Remote role within the United States. All employees are required to work Eastern Standard Hours, regardless of location.
- On site travel within the US may be required for company events and leadership sessions.
- Sustained standing and sitting.

- Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
- Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
