Now Hiring: Loan Operations Specialist

As our Loan Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day servicing of our commercial and consumer loan portfolios. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of loan booking, maintenance, and servicing processes. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to make a meaningful impact through purpose-driven finance.

The Rockstar Loan Operations Specialist we are looking for is located in the United States and able to consistently work Eastern Standard Time hours.

What you’ll be driving as a Loan Documentation Specialist

  • Loan Booking & Maintenance: Accurately book new commercial and consumer loans into the core system. Perform ongoing maintenance including rate changes, payment modifications, and term adjustments.
  • Draw Processing & Disbursements: Process loan advances and draws with precision and timeliness. Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant prior to disbursement.
  • Reconcilements & Reporting: Perform daily and monthly reconcilements of loan accounts, general ledger entries, and payment applications. Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Loan Accounting Expertise: Apply your knowledge of loan accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Review daily reports, identify exceptions, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Customer & Team Support: Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders and provide exceptional service to borrowers when needed. Assist with audits, documentation requests, and special projects.

Who you are:

·       Experienced & Knowledgeable: You bring 3+ years of experience in loan operations, with a strong background in both commercial and consumer loan servicing.

·       Loan Accounting Pro: You have solid knowledge of loan accounting, including accruals, amortization, and general ledger reconciliation.

·       Detail-Oriented & Analytical: You thrive in environments that demand accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail.

·       Tech-Savvy & Process-Driven: You’re comfortable with loan servicing platforms and Microsoft Office, and you’re always looking for ways to improve efficiency.

·       Collaborative & Reliable: You’re a dependable team player who communicates clearly and supports others to achieve shared goals.
